Flanders Heritage Library

Odoma is supporting the Flanders Heritages Libraries in systematically assessing the quality of the OCR of newspaper collections in Flanders and selecting the best OCR tools for improving them.

This project includes the creation of new OCR and the comparison of different OCR engines.

Ultimately, such study will enable the Flanders Heritages Libraries to make targeted investments to improve the OCR of newspapers from different collections in Flanders, cutting costs and delivering improved services to their users.
