Natural History Museum - Berlin

Information Extraction Workflow

Odoma is working with the collection transformation team of Berlin's Natural History Museum to develop an ambitious and customized workflow able to automatically turn digitized item descriptions into a knowledge graph.

This endeavour promises to turn the entire Museum's collection into a fully searchable knowledge base, with unprecedented scale and depth of information made available to the general public and researchers. More to come in the coming months!

Added values:

  • Designed and tested the entire AI workflow before scaling it up

  • Able to use the best open source tools available

  • Significant reduction in future costs and uncertainties
