The Olympic Studies Centre

Olympic Knowledge Platform

Odoma has worked closely with the IOC to develop a comprehensive knowledge base concept for the Olympic movement. Nourished by original academic publications, archival materials and existing interconnected databases, the future platform will provide faster access to sources, greater data reliability and unprecedented information richness.

Other aspects of the project concern interfaces to make new contents available to a broader public. A user study, including their expectations and motivations, made it possible to design an integrated set of interfaces, ranging from general public consultation to contributor tools for Olympic experts.

Added value:

  • Detailed end-to-end concept for the platform

  • Integrated data management strategy

  • Discover opportunities for novel user experiences
